ok so it seems we're going back to outer mongolia soon!!! I supoose i'll give you a real update for once. I've been off since though, to Llangrannog. We were virtually in the middle of nowhere, there was Little or no signal in the village we were staying, we had to go about 20 miles inland before we got any!!! The beach was gorgeous and the village was kind of sweet. There were 2 pubs (one serving food and one not), a general shop (which was kind of like a spar but not), A fish and chip shop, an extremely overpriced cafe (which sold amazing icecream), and an odd little shop which seemed mainly to be a gift shop. No i didnt bring back any gifts. We went into cardigan and found the best sweet shop ever (well....almost). Here is thier website. We talked to the woman and she said that there were over 600 jars of sweets in there and if they didnt have it, they would get it for you. Theres way more stuff on thier shelves than there is on the website. I've fogotten which village it was, but we went on a boat trip to see the dolphins and seals. It wasnt garunteed you'd see any, but the boat trip itself was fun. It was an hour-long and on the way out we were going against the wind and the waves so everyone got really soaked. On the way back the driver talked about what we could see and he did accually tell us that at low-tide the seals come out and lay on the rocks in a certain part (notice they didnt tell us that before we went out!). There were alot of birds and also some nice people who waved at us from the cliffs. On the way back the wind kept blowing the fumes from the boat at us, so i didnt enjoy that at all and it made me feel really sicky. So we went on a boat trip to see dolphins and seals and saw......nothing really, but it was fun anyway. I managed to get sunburnt, im sure you'll all see my horrific tan lines soon enough, i dont look burnt as such now, just slighly toasted. I looked very red when it happened. anywhoo, i'll try and remember to update, but you probably wont get a real update like this again for a while. <3 |
